In the early middle ages, a water trade route that connected Polatsk, Vilnja and Navagrudak passed via Mjadzelka river. During four expeditions in 2018-2019 the students of Pastavy gymnasium made a description of the unique complex, designed and equipped tourist routes in the surrounding area of ​​Lake Varanets, which includes objects of hydro-technic complex (residues of mill, canal, beaver area, Mjadzelka river, the remains of the former road).
