Yuri Chametka was born and raised in Minsk. Author of poetry books “The Path to the return” and “Ottawa”. Poems published in the Almanakh “Belarus”, magazines “Dzejaslou”, “Youth”, in the newspaper “Literature and Art”. Since 1997 he lives with his family in Ottawa, Canada. Now he presents a set of poems devoted to his lovely city Minsk.
