Valery Hrytsuk: Have We Lost Belarus or the Historical Depiction of the 20^th Century – the Reign of One Dictator, Former Collective Farm Worker?

Respected reader, for 27 years the population of the Republic of Belarus has been asleep (“A Factory of Sleep” – UltraVozhyk), it has made fun of the Opposition, refused to listen to the Opposition. Belarusians have a strong gene for remaining as slaves. But even a slave must think, but Belarusians have not been thinking. I am proposing the theses concerning things that have happened in the Republic of Belarus over the past little while. The situation has improved slightly, but regular workers did not go out on strike which shows that they have remained as slaves. The result is that slaves do not need understanding. Thus, my theses are directed to intellectuals, people who think and whose desire is to rebuild Belarus as a Belarusian democratic state adhering to true rules of people’s civil rights. I show the mistakes of “leaders” among the Opposition, stress that their unwillingness to work for changes through self-sacrifice which has resulted in failures of past efforts. In my view, the most dangerous phenomenon is people’s unwillingness to think for themselves.

Уважаемый читатель, 27 лет население Республики Беларусь спит («Фабрика сна» – УльтраВожык), высмеивает оппозицию, отказывается слушать оппозицию. У белорусов сильный ген оставаться рабами. Но даже холоп должен думать, а белорусы не думали. Предлагаю тезисы относительно того, что произошло в Республике Беларусь за последнее время. Ситуация немного улучшилась, но рабочие не бастовали, что свидетельствует о том, что они остались рабами. В результате рабы не нуждаются в понимании. Таким образом, мои тезисы адресованы интеллектуалам, людям думающим и желающим восстановить Беларусь как беларусское демократическое государство, придерживающимся истинных норм гражданских прав людей. Я показываю ошибки «лидеров» среди оппозиции, подчеркиваю их нежелание добиваться перемен путем самопожертвования, что привело к провалу прошлых усилий. На мой взгляд, самым опасным явлением является нежелание людей думать самостоятельно.
