Ivan Bursau was born on December 19, 1927 in Klimavichi of Magileu province. In 2011, Ivan Bursau presented the anthology of Belarusian poetry “Steps”. In 2016, he published a new book entitled “Breath of time”, where his translation into Russian of many poems of Belarusian poets were placed. The magazine received several poems by I. Bursau translated from Russian by S.Paniznik and two dedications to him as well. During publication of this issue it became known that I. Bursau paassed away. Eternal memory!
